Are you enrolled at a university or college? Then you can apply here. Our checklist shows you what other documents you’ll need for the application process. You can upload these at the same time if you want. 

Our administrators, Savills Property Management Deutschland GmbH, will check over your application and availability within your chosen apartment category. If there’s one available, Savills will arrange a viewing with you. If not, you can go into the applicant pool (waiting list).

Of course it’s possible to get an impression of Quartillion, its apartments, the concept and the location. Our rental team would be happy to make an appointment with you: Just send us an email or give us a call. You can also fill in the “request viewing” section of the application form.

Visits depend on the availability of the apartments and can be arranged with our administrator.

If your chosen apartment type is no longer available, we’d be happy to place you in our applicant pool (waiting list). Just check the “place in applicant pool” box at the first step of the application process. We’d also be happy to inform you of other apartment types and their availability. 

 The all-inclusive rental payment covers the use of your furnished apartment, shared use of the study and common areas and other normal charges. The cost of the high-speed internet is already included in the rent and are sent directly to our collaborative partner.

 All other operational and consumer costs are included in your rental payment. That includes apartment electricity, water, heating and all other associated costs.

Before you move in, we require a deposit of 3 months’ rent. You’ll get this back after you move out, if your apartment has been kept in good condition. 

You’ll only have to pay for your TV licence (known as “GEZ-Gebühren”), which we’re not legally allowed to pay for you. Please make sure to get informed and register on time. You’ll find all the information here: www.rundfunkbeitrag.de

 Leases run for a minimum of 6 months. After you’ve provided proof of enrolment, you can extend your lease a maximum of 8 times, for six months each time.

 You’ll have to give notice 3 months before the end of a semester, on the 3rd working day of a month at the latest. You must send a letter giving notice of your termination.

All of our apartments are rented fully furnished. You just need to pack a suitcase with your personal items. Don’t forget kitchen and bathroom utensils.

As a tenant, you’ll receive internet access via our collaborative partner for a maximum of three devices.

Quartillion has an underground car park with 54 parking spaces for residents. You can rent a parking space for 75€ per month.

We have approx. 80 covered bike spaces that are free to use. Taking bikes into the apartments is not permitted.

The apartments are located in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, a lively, popular district. Cologne University is only two kilometres away and other universities are also within easy reach. Everything you need for your daily life is right around the corner. Supermarkets, bakers, banks and pharmacies are just a stone’s throw away on foot or by bike, as well as cafes, bars and sports facilities.

There’s a tram stop right in front of the building, buses and S-Bahns are only a few hundred metres away and easy to reach on foot. Cologne-Ehrenfeld station also isn’t far away.
